SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
February 2019 - Present
In my time with the CJUSD I have gained invaluable K-8 classroom experience. In this role I have taken on many long term placements, including opening a third grade class for the first 2 months of the 2020-2021 school year. I have been able to develop my own classroom management style and independently design/deliver lessons in both the physical and virtual classroom.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB, REDLANDS
August 2018 - March 2020
In this role I ran an afterschool program in a classroom setting located on a low-income housing site, and now work seasonally as a teen camp coordinator. As the site coordinator I am responsible for planning and delivering programming that covers literacy, S.T.E.M, Art and leadership skills for 15-20 students ranging from grades K-12, as well as identifying areas of the common core curriculum that students struggle with and offering additional help.
